Healthy Start provides case management, health education, community outreach and resource referral services for women of reproductive age (11-45), pregnant women, the father/partner and their families that live in East Baton Rouge Parish.

We know that becoming a parent brings new questions and decisions, so the Family Road Healthy Start program was developed to provide the support you need, when you need it, so that you have the best chance for a healthy birth outcome while also maintaining good mental and physical health. The program provides information to help you better understand pregnancy, prepare for labor and delivery, and meet the challenges of parenting a newborn and toddler.
